Stereoheroes have a new ep since a week, and it is a quite awesome one! Remixes from Blatta & Inesha, Le Castle Vania, NEUS and John Lord Fonda stand proudly nest to the 3 originals "Longshot", "Night Hawk" and "Wild Child". I am a big fan almost all the tracks on the EP, only the John Lord Fonda remix is not exactly my cup of tea.
I have permission to give the NEUS remix of "Longshot" away for free, so please enjoy it! Prelisten the whole EP on soundcloud, and buy it here on beatport!
I posted a few tracks from Temabes a few months back, and my description of his sound still fits like a glove. Dark, frightening, heavy, distorted electro music, coming straight from the coldest bunkers and cellars from the old Sovjet Union...
Ok, from now on, you can expect these kind of posts after a few days without new stuff on our page, or just when I feel like doing one. I will throw in lots of info and songs, who don't have any relation to each other, except that they're all banging!
We'll start with Designer Drugs "Riot/Drop down" Ep. The original Ep was released in October last year, and now they are going to release a remix Ep. Stereoheroes and Mustard Pimp were called to remix-duty, and the results can be previewed below. I am really liking the Stereoheroes remix, the drop at 1.13 minutes is just insane!
We informed you earlier about Dj Mehdi and Riton's new project, called Carte Blanche. Their debut Ep will be released on Ed Bangers, and we were able to get our hands on a copy of "Gare Du Nord". Which is truly a prime-time banger, but judge for yourself!
And to end this post, one interesting fact: did you know that the "woop woop" vocals in warp 1.9, weren't sung by Steve Aoki? That's right, you believed that for almost a year, and if it wasn't for me, you would still be living in this misbelief. They are actually sung by A girl and a gun, if you listen carefully you can recognise her voice.
Kasual Cocktail has a brand new site, check it here!
After a winterbreak full of tours, Stereoheroes found some time to produce a track with their friend from Portugal, Da Chick. Some cheesy vocals, in the fine company of some trademark Stereoheroes basses, ready to get the party started! Normally this would be released, but because they lost their work files, it won't. Real sucky for them, but for us, this feels like we're a kid in a candyshop, and the shop-owner isn't there. Free candy time!
Moore & Lezz, a new duo you say? Think again, this antwerp based duo has gained fame already from their solo projects (Mr Moore and Komputerist). They have recently released a track on Basserk (Click Clack!), alongside acts like Aerotronic, Nobody Beats the Drum and many others. Buy the whole shizzle on iTunes! Now let's get back to Moore & Lezz, because they are worth more than one check. Their latest track, Pole Position, is the hardest thing they've made so far, somewhere around 1:30 it gets real nasty. Moore & Lezz - Pole Position (demo) by Moore and Lezz
King of Swing is something that even the ladies will like, swinging their asses like we're back in the sixties. This time-travel takes only until you have reached the 2:20 mark. Boom, back in 2010, with a blend of fidget and trash! Moore & Lezz - King of Swing by Moore and Lezz
I had never heard of these guys, but they really blew my mind. Check more stuff on their soundcloud!
22 - Toy Quantize - Weather Change (Doc Trashz Remix)
23 - Sickboy - Energy Blast (Tom Deluxx Remix)
24 - Pance Party - Fun Factory
25 - Lil Jon's going to Hell
Figure, I already posted some stuff about him, but this one is really mindblowing! If you have seen the cultmovie the warriors (cult action movie released in 1979), you might recognise the vocals, he has used the speech from Cyrus to create some more atmosphere. For those who haven't seen this movie, I suggest you do it immediately! Heavy Dubstep/4-4 bass, like he calls it himself. I agree completely with him! Can you dig it?!
One part of the Squatters (Oliver Portamento aka Baldy squatter) teamed up with one half of Cold blank (Mr. Gaspar) to make this cool track. Timbaland's hip-hop track is changed into a Fidget/jackin tune, perfect to heat up dancefloors.
A little while ago, we gave you some tracks from Gtronic's "Iron man" Ep, and now Stereoheroes gave us their remix of this amazing track. They added some vocals to it, this gives the song a whole new face. Consider it a (belated) Christmas gift from them! If you want to buy the whole Ep in 320 versions, it's available on beatport.
Vecho is another great Belgian electro project, their tracks are bombin'! The "Waters of Nazareth" remix starts so fucking hard and loud, I almost couldn't believe my ears! Same story for the "Rombo" remix. I thought the originals couldn't be harder, but Vecho has proven me wrong. They also remixed the militaristic fairytale called "8000", and this remix got me headbanging from the first second. Vecho's sound can be described as typical Proxy noise, I'm really loving it.
