Wrap up # 9

We posted a remix of Dj antention's track Ivan a few months ago, it was remixed by X-ettl, one of the guys from Aerotronic. Vecho made one too, and this one is even harder than the one by X-ettl (oh, poor ears of mine, they really have a tough time nowadays...). I prefer this one over the original and remixes, but you are of course free to disagree with my humble opinion.
Big up for Vecho!

pass: ivanvechoremix593

And here is another one remix by Vecho, this time for Redial's "Venom". Sweeeeeeet!

The artist who would definitely have got the Ratrabbits award for "breakthrough artist of 2010" (if it existed), is Comic Strips. I have downloaded everything he has made so far, and 90% of that was pure sex (the other 10% was only foreplay). Not many producers achieve that level of versatility, quality and productivity. And he is only just starting... His latest remix is a bomb that has an impact similar to the one dropped on hiroshima.
It will hit you in you face out of nowhere... It's Sucker Punch by Gtronic!

Temabes is a producer from Moscow, Russia, who seems very eager to let the world know that he is out there, making stuff that bangs and kicks you right in your manhood. This is heavy, dark, grinding, teeth crushing electro like only a sick mind from the former soviet union can make... Prepare...

This remix by Beatbouncers is out since monday, and it's been supported by big guns like Kissy Sell Out, Cyberpunkers, The Oddword, Shameboy,... The sound is a lot heavier then their stuff when they were still a duo, something that I can only be happy about.

The Eleven from the Netherlands is a relative young producer, but his tunes already gained support from Dj's like Dem Slackers, Riptide, Screendeath,... And his track "Pie" will be released on Southern Fried records. His stuff sounds a lot like acid house, but then with a special touch that I can't describe exactly - let's call it the" clouds touch".

Bonus:

I posted a preview of this some time ago, now you can have the full version!

Buck Wasted in the club

Wasted Basterds were promoted here about a month and a half ago, and I think it's time to give him another well deserved spot in the spotlights. His latest track, called "Mad Kidz" will be released on Touché records, together with a bunch of remixes By X-ettl, Mr. Skeleton and Vakkuum. Today I present you the original mix, an electro-trash-distortion-rave-get-fucked-up track which will definitely get you to bang your head!

Then I have some new Comic Candy for you, brought to you by our number one source of banging electro from the US and A. You've guessed it, it's Comic Strips! He has made a new Ep, this time it's not one with only tracks from himself, there are 3 remixers who all try to do it better than our whizzkid.
It's hard to pick one favorite, because basically they don't differ that much from the original. If I have to pick one, it would be the Krftkds remix, because it adds just that little more punch. But for a first track with vocals (they are done by Sneaky Mike and Femi), this whole Ep kicks ass!
The best news: it's free for all!

Tracklist:

1. Buck Naked In The Club (original mix)
2. Buck Naked In The Club (Geneden Remix)
3. Buck Naked In The Club (Krftkds Remix)
4. Buck Naked In The Club ( The Mass Brothers Remix)

This should be your sh!!!

Hi folks, I'm back with yet another promo post for Comic Strips! It seems like almost everything I'm posting is something that's been made by him... I guess I'm just a sucker for a pretty bass! This fellow will be releasing his second Ep on Rot10 musik, and I can assure you that this is a no-brainer when thinking if it will be worth your money. The 3 tracks on it should be widely supported by anyone who's willing to give new talents a shot, or basically by everyone who likes his electro pumping and energetic.

My favourite track is Ghost Troubles, It comes so close to perfect that I was a bit afraid of what the other 2 might sound like when compared to it... Luckily for me, the other 2 are prime time bangers as well, who may stand proudly next to Ghost Troubles. Ill-matic is a blend between electro and metal, perfect for those moshers on the first rows! That's my sh!!, the title track of the Ep, is good head-banging material, but I'm afraid I ran out of superlatives to describe it. Awesome Ep, prelisten all of the tracks below!

The Kraken is loose again!

It's been a long time since I promoted something from the kraken, aka kraken heart here. The reason for this is quite obvious: the guy just took a short break from this project, to have more time to keep his other one (called Dropout Marsh, this is more dreamy and hypnotic than you're used too if you have heard the kraken already) alive. He's back in business now, his new mixtape is more bangin' than ever. It's actually a new mixtape project, no more Kraken tapes, but Beast tapes. Not that you'll notice, the sound stays the same. Thank God.

Doesn't that first track from the mixtape sounds familiar? Yes it does bitches! It's my homie Comic Strips from Pittsburgh, with his track "Drip Drop". I told you that he was going to rise fast, and for those pessimists who still don't believe what I'm saying, I have some more teasers for upcoming remixes from him. Absolutely lovely, as always!

This one is real short, but it gives you a good idea how cool the full version will be.

Bangers + Laziness = Belated posts full of bangers!

It's been a long time again, my dearest readers. Reason? Just a bit of laziness, mixed with the typical winter blues feeling + school stuff that got at an alarming rate.

Ill Saint M, previously known as Illstm (I guess you can figure out why he changed his name a bit) made another hard remix for us! Kids who are craving for sweaty dance floors full of people giving everything they got (like me), have another track to party on. Go ask your local dj's to bang this out loud, very loud... If you ask me, this has a lot more potential than the original to fire up your party! Become a fan on his new facebook page, this guy definitely needs more support!

Oh yeah, before I forget: rumors about his new Ep are getting wilder and wilder... Getting released on Citizen records (Vitalic, Teenage Bad Girl,...) ? No way!?

Second is a nice bootleg from Hoi!, a duo from the UK that already got loads of support during their short existence. Names like Dem Slackers, The Bloody Beetroots, Foamo, Kissy Sell out,... should ring a bell somewhere, no? I'm giving you one of their newest tracks, which has a free download option enabled as well. Woblles, nasty basslines and all that spiced up with fidget nonsense - determined to be bangin' if you ask me!

Peeps who are following Comic Strips on facebook (like everyone should be) or something else, have heard about this tune before. Shake em' up is the name of the new born kid, and it will definitely give you a hard time. I'll leave it up to your party genes to make sense of that last sentence - shouldn't be too hard, just click that orange "play" button below.

Ghost troubles

Mashed Paper Klub, the organizers of the famous Fight Klub parties, have made another Ep, set for release in January. It's called "Humans" and you should definitely check out the video they made for it. I have to say this is one of the best (or maybe even the best?) videoclips for an electro track I've ever seen. "Epic cinematic vibes" as people like Datsik said, it has the creepy atmosphere of a Japanese horror movie, which I like a lot more than the straight forward American way.

Full tracklist:

A1 - Humans (original version)
A2 - Humans (Fractional remix)
A3 - Humans (Thot remix)
B1 - Troy (original version)
B2 - Troy (Mondkopf remix)

Comic Strips will be dropping a second Ep real soon, he just released a teaser of the beast on soundcloud! If you have been following this blog the last 2 months, then you know I'm a big fan of this dude's work. Literally everything he made made me bounce, jump and scream, so it's more likely that the Belgian politics get solved than that I don't like this new Ep. Thats my Sh!!, Ghost Troubles and ill-Matic are the titles of my new to become favorite tracks, check them out below!

Saint Lezz

Comic Strips made a nice new track, called "Sainthood". He is giving it away for free once more, but I think this dude could make serious money if he found a good label. "Sainthood" uses chorus voices to get you into the right mood, and then it drops you right in the middle of the dancefloor. But anyway, I think that I'll like anything that uses Comic Strips trademark: dry, hard and even a bit sticky beats.

SaintHood by Comic Strips

In the short time that this track was online, a dude called Bullwack made a smashing remix already. This shifts the label of the track a bit more towards the dubstep, but it would still fit perfectly in a hard electro set. As you can see, this song has a shitload of comments already, you can take that as a sign of how good the quality is!

The 2 songs can be downloaded in 320 quality for free here!

Moore & Lezz had the honor of appearing on this page 2 times already, and I think it's time for their third post! They just released their first Ep on the Amsterdam based "Basserk" record label, and let me tell you something... It's a BEAST!
5 original tracks (no remixes), all worth your pennies and all 100 % ready to play in a hard electro set. It was hard to pick a favorite, but in the end I think I'll follow our Belgian pride Gtronic, who picked "Tyrannosaurus" as the best track.
"Click clack" and the "Click clack (Lezz's reload)", are basically the same track (I guess you already thought something like that), but the Lezz's reload is slightly better if you ask me. The pistol in the original gets replaced by a machine gun, and when seen as a whole, the track is just a bit harder.
"Smash your phone" uses a sample from an old phone, and then it totally smashes it, on the rhythm of some aggressive vocals.
The last track aims for a slightly more funky feeling, and this is definitely the most chilled track from the whole Ep. Moore & Lezz just can't leave it chilled like that and use a few high pitching synths to make it an all-round party tune, maybe even the one that people who aren't that much into trash will dig the most.

Buy it on the basserk store here, pre-listen it on soundcloud below and download the free promo "Click Clack" promo track through this link.

Stripping fluffers

Comic Strips, I almost can't believe that there was a time were I wasn't aware of his existence. His tracks are so well made, so hard hitting and energetic, he's becoming one of my favorite young guns in the industry. If you share my opinion about him, check his latest remix below, and give him some love by favoriting it (click on the link to get to his soundcloud page, and then click the little heart in the upper left corner). If he wins, it will get released on Crux records, and that would be more than awesome!

Asian Trash Boy-Whisper (Comic Strips Remix) by Comic Strips
I haven't spread much word about The Squatters, a duo from Leeds in the UK, but their latest track really caught my attention. They still make tracks that sound a bit fidgetty, but unlike most of the other fidget projects they don't get boring by giving every track the same beat pattern (like the older crookers remixes - but that was way better than most of their new stuff). This one sounds like a vintage "3 is a crowd" track, but then spiced up with some samples. This is what a dancefloor needs nowadays!

Comic Remixes

If you were as amazed as I was about the first Ep from Comic Strips that I posted a few days ago, you're definitely going to love this. The man has pumped out some pretty solid remixes, and I had a wonderful time listening to them.
Favorites you ask? They're all amazing, but the Babylon remix is a bomb heavier than the one dropped on Hiroshima. It's even better than the Pink is Punk remix, and that one was already better than the awesome original. Download the remixes in better quality here.

My second favorite is the one he did for Amanda Blank's "might like you better". I have 5 remixes for that track on my computer, but this one is actually the only one that I dig.

It's been a really long time since I shared an OMGITM mixtape, but the last installment in the series was crafted by Haezer, the South-African electro anarchist. If you are familiar with his work, you know what to expect - some of the hardest electro to be found on this planet. Enjoy!

Drop that Drip

The normal procedure for promoting an EP for me is picking one Track that I dig the most, and then give that one away with a link to the others. Comic Strips first EP though, is just too good to pick one favorite and hurt the other ones. 800m, Drip Drop, Villain and Bounce all deserve to become instant classics. This guy only started 2 years ago by making some mash-ups, and after some projects as a dj with a friend, he got into the real shit when he decided to make his first EP. Give this guy from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania some love, he's definitely worth it!

Link to download the Full EP (streaming is also possible)

Did you know that Nintendo mascottes Mario and Luigi made music?
Me neither, so don't worry. As you might have expected already, I'm not going to blog something about the super mario theme song here, but some heavy trash! The first track is a declaration of war to Wario, the all-time bad man of the super mario series.

The second track is a mix of heavy metal vocals with grinding and crushing chainsaw sounds, just the way I like it. The vocals make it perfectly for a wild moshpit, they really gave me energy boosts from time to time.
