Back... or not?

Laptops that are broke down suck, that's for sure... After more than a week of being cut off from the electro scene, I needed some time to recover and to get back up to date in the fast moving electro world. I'm not sure that I have completed that job, but I will just give you a few songs that I liked from my internet search from the last few days.

The first one is Cabala from Cyberpunkers (I'm pretty sure a lot of you will have this already), a song that's perfect for the festivals and big open air shows. It has that signature Cyberpunkers feeling, ravey sounds all over... I'm getting kinda bored of it in a lot of their songs, but this one is just that little bit more diverse, which is why I like it so much!

The second one is a hard and dark Clouds remix, this would a perfect track for the smaller, more underground electro party's - like rock me on electro. Grinding, brutal,... it has everything you need! It's released on Fake Blood's Blood music.

Nick Campbell - Brick Scrap (Clouds remix) (thanks to the chemical jump!)

And for all those who went completely nuts when they saw Gtronic's facebook post that he would stop - he had announced it already in our interview, but it was unpredictable that he would do it so drastically. Don't worry though, his new tracks all sounded super duper extra awesome, so I don't think you'll be regretting this little switch :).

You' ve been cyberpunked!

Hey there ratrabbitsvisitors, I am Armydillo, the new blogger. What can you expect from me?
Dark dubstep and electro of the hardest and most violent kind!
If there's anything you want to know, just ask.

And now, let's get to the case.
For all you cyberpunkerfans, here are some tracks from the two mysterious masked mad men from Italy. Like their other tracks and remixes, their so loud and hard that your neighbours will party when you turn them on.
So turn up the volume and enjoy!

Haezer? I know who the fuck he is!

If you follow this blog since early april (or earlier), you'll probably still remember who the fuck Haezer is. This South-African dj and producer has boomed since then, and his highly anticipated "Who the fuck is Haezer"-Ep dropped this week on beatport (check all the remixes and buy it here). Remixes from Cyberpunkers, Trumpdisco, Noize Generation,... 7 in total, and from those the remix Cyberpunkers pumped out is my favourite. It blows your head off with it's hoarse, even a bit sexy vocals, combined with the pumping cycles of madness that we know from the Italian punkers.

Haezer - Who the fuck is Haezer (Cyberpunkers remix)
(I hate the fact that it this version cuts off before the end, I'd love to hear more of that...)

There was a time when we got our hands on awesome Trumpdisco remixes and originals almost every 2 or 3 weeks, but their stream of promo stuff was set on hold for a few months. This doesn't mean that they were being lazy during that time, in fact they are looking for labels to release their stuff. A small 2 weeks ago they uploaded a bunch of new & old stuff on their soundcloud, I think that you should definitely check all that... I'm gonna do that myself too, but my neck still needs some recovery from all the headbanging sessions from the last few days!
Their take on Haezer's track is typical for them, a simple, pumping beat pattern under thick layers of trash and distortion. And that's why Trumpdisco is so fuckin' genius!

The Noize Generation remix aims for a more casual trash feeling, with looped vocals and a sample that seems to come straight from a metal song. This gives it an agressive and ravey atmoshpere (not something that girls would like I think), perfect for a sweaty mosh-pit at a festival!

Sneaky bastards

Today I have 2 tracks for you that shouldn't have slipped under our radar, but they still did. It's kinda hard to listen to everything you find on blogs, so I usually only check the things that have a high chance to be something good (everything that flies into our inbox gets a listen of course).

The first one was passed on to us by Supreems themselves, in a very kind mail. Supreems are Xavier Van Bouwel and William Pauwels (VNNR's brother), and they finished their first track a month ago. It's called "Axis", and it sounded like a perfect marriage between house & trash. Keep an eye on these guys, they're playing on some cool dance festivals in Belgium like Laundry Day and last year's 10 days off.

Supreems - Axis by Supreems

When I was listening to Sawgood's latest mixtape, the second track of it got stuck in my head. After some research I found a decent quality version from this banging piece of trash, it turned out to be the Cyberpunkers remix for The Blister Boyz. If I close my eyes and turn the volume to the maximum, I can think about what things this would do to a packed dancefloor...
Carnage!

running into clouds

TOM DELUXX - RUN (Official video) from Selim Bentounes on Vimeo.

Tom Deluxx, aka one half of Just a Band, has released his "run" Ep on Boxon records a few weeks ago. The official video for the original track is worth a look, a real creepy atmosphere which sucked me to my screen when I first looked at it.
Support him by buying it on beatport!

Tom is a generous guy, he's handing out killer tracks for free! His remix for Cyberpunkers is downloadable below, and Cyberpunkers made the remix for his Ep in exchange.

Cyberpunkers - OMG (Tom Deluxx rmx)

Clouds, a name that has been popping up on a decent lot of blogs lately. Not without reason, since their tracks are dope, with a big room attitude. Fake Blood is already supporting them, as well as The Subs, Stereoheroes, Thomas Von Party,... and many more are to follow!
Fake Blood will be releasing 2 tracks from the dudes, Liquid and Mauful sir, on his forthcoming label (so far it hasn't got a name). They think about themselves as "pretty boring" (check their interview on squeegie), but I'm sure their music will get a lot of dancefloors burning.

Full blast! I'm sure my neighbours like it!

Going out to a club you've never been before, and once you're arrived you think: What a fkn crappy club! Then the only thing that can make your night is some hard, rawing, trashing, destroying electro music.
Turn the volume up to its maxium, full blast, and raavveee! And at the end of the night, it was one of the best parties you've ever been to. Underground at its best! LOVE IT!

Ok, now I'm sure you're in the right mood for some banging raving tracks.

Starting with KRFTKDS, coming from the USA (California, LA). I couldn't find many information about them. But based on their myspace they started in 2008 and they haven't got a label yet. Have a listen, and let the music control your body.

KRFTKDS - Yo Yo (direct link: right click, save as..)

They also made a remix for Belgiums upcoming talent Shaved Monkeys!
Madness!

And talking about Belgium: for me Gtronic is the one of the best DJs who can turn a crappy club into a crashing party like I described at the top of my post.

Staying in Belgium we have Trashing Teenagers?!, labeled under Basserk.
Its a project of three friends who share the passion for crazy sounds and heavy basses, established in 2009.
"We love freakin distortion" is what they want to tell the world, and so their music does:

And to finish this post, I first want to apologize for postings this one so lately. The most of you probably already know this track, but for those who don't:

My brain's on fire, so I think I have to go

Cyberpunkers have been featured some time ago on this blog, but their popularity has boomed like dynamite recently. A lot of the fuzz around them originates from the fact that they have released a new Ep last friday, on Freakz me out records. This Ep contains the bombs "I needed to go" and "OMG". It has received a new face from hot artists like Tom Deluxx, Autodidakt, Gooseflesh, Max Cherry and Zero Cash. Buy it on beatport!
The videoclip for the original "I needed to go" has started quite a buzz, but because the leading role in it was played by a very ugly, skinny, emo girl, I'm not going to shock you with it. If you are really dying to see it, check their myspace or facebook fanpage. For the ones who think they can trust me blindly, I have a download link. Woopwoop!

Cyberpunkers - I needed to go

The other lucky dude who will get a little attention from me this time, is La Tourette. With remixes on his Cv for Steve Aoki, Royksopp, Major Lazer and loads of others, he earned some stripes already. His new Ep will be released on Joystick records, including three originals : Get Busy, Bastard and Avc. All three of these songs are worth a bit of your precious time, but I only have "Bastard" for you as a download link. For the other ones you will have to wait untill the 1st of april, when it's released. But you'll bang your head for sure with this track, and you know why that is?
Because your brain's on fire!
