The Amsterdam based underground label Basserk, will be releasing a new ep in the very near future, on the 9th of march to be precise. It will be the first time the 2 boys from Crunkd, aka Hernàn and Ambrogi and Gianni Marino, will show their producing skills to the world.

I am a big fan of the original "Gangster", and the Klipar remix is pretty awesome too. The original is a crazy, a bit trashy electro tune, that combines the effectiveness of a big bass with a very simple vocal, and some rave elements. Big tune, and I am allowed to share this beaty with you guys, so grab that chance!

I would love to share a preview of the Klipar remix too, because it has even bigger basses and some cool techno sounds (normally I don't like techno, but this is kinda cool indeed), but I can't find a youtube or soundcloud version anywhere... You'll just have to buy it on the 9th of march!

For the second part of this post, I have a new breakdown tune for you all. It's called "zwiggy", and it's a very happy and dancefloor heating track. If you like silly synths, jump-up sounds, and in general a good party, this is definitely a song for you :).

The hype about Daft Punk's comeback is getting extremely infectious, even Breakdown has fallen to the madness... Should we get worried (maybe I have to get worried, after being such a naive fool to believe that Daft Punk would play at I love Techno)?

NO! Of course not! Everything that results in good electro songs should be embraced!

Smart peeps have already figured out that this track will be one from Daft Punk and Breakdown, and the true masterminds might have linked it to the first track of the Tron Soundtrack, called Derezzed. If you are stupid and were absolutely clueless about what to expect, don't worry. The reward stays the same.

Valy Mo has received some attention from me a little while back, but this dude has more tricks in his sleeve than there are grains of sand in the desert. I can't find the words needed to describe the sound of this track (the fact that I'm in a hurry limits my creativity), the only thing I can say is that he did a great job. Ok go is a rock band from Chicago, who got famous because of their awesome videoclips. The one for this track is actually one of the best clips ever!

This may be the first post ever where I promote something that a friend of mine made... I just don't want you to think that I post stuff just because friends made it, but this one is actually a very nice tune! Disko Kids, hailing from Leuven in Belgium (this track was made at 100 meters from my door) are proudly presenting their very first production.

It's a remix for Dem Slackers - Swagger, and they made it harder, more bleepy, more chaotic, more everything!

Wrap up # 6

Even though the posting was at an acceptable level the last weeks, there was still a bunch of cool stuff that didn't got posted, and since it started to get alarmingly big, there was only one option left... Wrap up time!

I always think that I have found my fail-proof way to catch all the fresh bangers that are currently circling through the wide web, but when I bump into something cool after a lot of other blogs hyped it already, I realize yet again that I too am but a humble human being.

Such a thing happened this week, when I finally checked out Breakdown's much anticipated track "Pet Monster". The reason why I didn't gave it a try when it was featured on Gottadancedirty and tons of other blogs was just plain laziness, and I should punish myself for having done it. This track blends electro with a touch of dubstep, the result is a prime halloween banger! Check out the funny video they made for it, and download the track for free!

The Amsterdam based label Basserk released a shitload of music recently, since the 1st of september they pumped out 5 hours, 28 minutes and 2 seconds of heavy, trashy, violent electro music. The release that took my fancy (besides the Moore & Lezz Ep that I reviewed some time ago), is the one from Portuguese bouncer Klipar. "Gogo", the absolute killer track from the release, can best be compared to Tigger from Winnie the pooh while he has an energy boost. Jumpy, bouncy, party!

Designer Drugs new track, "Through the Prism", is a free give away to prepare the world for their first album "Hardcore/softcore" which will soon be released on ultra records. If you haven't heard of Designer Drugs before, this track is one of their finest, but check out "Drop Down" too.

To end with something trashy, I force you to give Wyke some of your time. His new production "French Beef" is definitely going in the right direction, but I still feel like there is something missing... Nevertheless, this dude will probably find out what it is, and make his next productions better and better!

For an unknown reason, I haven't posted something about those 2 crazy Dutchmen... Let's start with their latest remix for Oh snap!, "Plus size model". They gave it their typical "mighty" touch, resulting in a speedy fidget song that I loved since the first time I heard it. Their older remix for Oh snap! which was given the name "I'm too fat be a hipster", has graced my ears for a solid 30 times, according to the statistics on my Ipod. Enough reasons to give you that one too!

For the second part of my post, I was thinking about giving you my favourite Mightyfools records. But for a second I didn't realise what an immense ammount of bangers they have produced already, and choosing would be very painfull... So I'm just giving some of their most unknown tracks, for a complete archive of their tunes, check wizards are better.
