Here goes the hurry again

The hype about Daft Punk's comeback is getting extremely infectious, even Breakdown has fallen to the madness... Should we get worried (maybe I have to get worried, after being such a naive fool to believe that Daft Punk would play at I love Techno)?
NO! Of course not! Everything that results in good electro songs should be embraced!

Smart peeps have already figured out that this track will be one from Daft Punk and Breakdown, and the true masterminds might have linked it to the first track of the Tron Soundtrack, called Derezzed. If you are stupid and were absolutely clueless about what to expect, don't worry. The reward stays the same.
A banging electro candy, not to be missed by all the kids who ever want to be smart!

Valy Mo has received some attention from me a little while back, but this dude has more tricks in his sleeve than there are grains of sand in the desert. I can't find the words needed to describe the sound of this track (the fact that I'm in a hurry limits my creativity), the only thing I can say is that he did a great job. Ok go is a rock band from Chicago, who got famous because of their awesome videoclips. The one for this track is actually one of the best clips ever!

Lack of time = lack of creative descriptions for this one. It's awesome, just believe me.
Or, even better, don't believe me! Be critical and check the link below to get your mind blown! KrustyProders - BadGuy (ValyMo rmx) by ValyMo

This may be the first post ever where I promote something that a friend of mine made... I just don't want you to think that I post stuff just because friends made it, but this one is actually a very nice tune! Disko Kids, hailing from Leuven in Belgium (this track was made at 100 meters from my door) are proudly presenting their very first production.

It's a remix for Dem Slackers - Swagger, and they made it harder, more bleepy, more chaotic, more everything!

Wrap up # 5

I hope this is the last time I have to apologise for the lack of freshness on this page, but normally there won't be any more holidays, exams, irritating parents, green monkeys and more anti-blogging stuff in the near future. So that means I can start posting on a regular basis again! I threw my other bloggers off, they weren't motivated anymore and I searched through my database of electro friends to find somebody who will replace them. Hopefully this means you people will get a lot more from us, I certainly hope that ratrabbits faces a bright future again! Enough emo peptalk, let's get to the tunes!

After a waiting period of several months (I have been hyping this from the very beginning, the 30th of march when it was played at WMC for the first time), Barbra Streisand is finally out! Some say it's underwhelming, others say it's overhyped, I say it's a summer-hit released in Autumn. Enjoy this tune my friends, because there aren't much tunes that give you that precious "Oh yeah, it's fucking summertime baby!"-feeling.

Duck Sauce - Barbra Streisand
(original mix, 320 kbps) thanks to the Chemical Jump!

The P2t was one of the projects that we saw getting big thanks to our support (of course, without the right tunes and support from other blogs they wouldn't have got themselves anywhere), and now I am proud to say that their latest production is absolutely mindblowing. It uses some old rave samples, giving it some more punch for the dancefloor.

Edit:
The P2t track is not available for download anymore, because there might be a chance that it gets released.

The Trash Mob is still alive and kicking, and because a lot of people probably already forgot who they are, I'll repeat it once more. It's a promo-project from a few young french guns like Krusty Proders, Valy Mo, Arcade Nights,... and it's incredibly hard! This time it's not just a file with songs from them, but an Ep from Valy Mo. The remixers are Krusty Proders, EightynineR and Arcade nights. My favourite tracks from the pack are the EightynineR rmx and the original Olivia, but it was a real tough choice to make. If you want to listen to all of them, download here.

That brings us to my latest song to spread to you guys, a fresh remix from Paco De Moor. At this time, it is likely that even your grandmother thinks that the Pope would better retire to smoke some more dope. Everything is better than helping pedophiles getting away with their crimes right? So I think it is time to pull this overplayed song a bit more into obscureness, with the Paco De Moor remix as secret weapon. As expected, it's harder, better, faster, stronger.

Wrap up # 3

After a few hectic days caused by the exams, I finally found some time to sit down, relax, and dive into my swimming pool of electro (some even call it our "inbox"). The relaxing part from my intentions didn't quite came true, and if you listen to the music listed below, you'll understand why!

I'll start with the new release on MAKO records, the third one already. It's the first one from Polymorphic on this label, and it's also the first remix from the Proxy that gets released on his new label. My favorite of the release is "Robodance", but you should definitely check out the other 2 aswell! It only takes a minute, in the literally sense of the word.

Noize Degeneration, a nice french blog with basically the same focus as we have (being ass-kicking, bleeding hard electro), has started a project to promote some of their favorite french young guns (they're all between 16 and 22 years old). It's called "trash mob volume 1", and since you are a smart-ass, you can tell that this is gonna be the first part of a series! I picked my favourites from the package, but if you want more you can download them in a nice and friendly wrap-up file.

Tracklist :
1. Valy Mo - Diskro 2.0
2. Krusty Proders - Runegade
3. B. Frenzy - Super Pyramid
4. Arcade Nights - Smashing
5. 89 Revolt & Valy Mo - Spit On Your Money
6. Krusty Proders - 21h48
7. B. Frenzy - Russian 11 (Arcade Nights remix)
8. Valy Mo - Diskro 2.0 (89 Revolt remix)

If you want the whole package, download here!

VNDL is fully enjoying his summer back there in Montreal, but it's not only chilling and partying for him, he also locks himself in his room to make partytunes for us, mortals. His latest track sounds a bit like a mutation between trash, dubstep and hardstyle, and it sounds a lot better then this weird description might let you think!

The Sekskilers (ft Cute Boy) made a remix for Mika Chew's new Ep, which is coming out on D.E.N.S. records soon. If all the other remixes for this Ep sound as good as this one, it'll be pure gold once it has hit the shelves!

Illstm's remix contest is going quite well, he has received 25 remixes already, and one of the remixes was made by Topaloca, 2 young belgians. They really gave the track a whole new look, it's less trashy and ravey, but with a more pumping bass underneath. I still prefer the original over this, but this is certainly worth a bit of your time.
